The Alma College Men's Golf team took part in the NCAA Tournament Qualifier #1 at Trine University, held at Zollner Golf Club. The Scots finished second out of four in their quest for a automatic NCAA bid, seven strokes behind Hope College.
The next competition will be down at Hope on Thursday.
"I thought we played real well today and had some performances that put us where we want to be," said Alma Head Coach Ryan Duckworth. "It is going to be tough to go down to Hope's home course, but I believe our guys are up to the challenge and ready to go."
Marty Predmesky finished second on Saturday in the NCAA #1 Qualifier with a two under 68
