The Men's Tennis team dropped a hard-hitting match to NAIA, #31, Davenport University, 7-2, on Saturday. The Scots battled all day but were not able to overcome the strong Panther's line-up.
"We played very well today up and down the line-up," said Alma Head Coach Chris Sandro. "They are a tough squad, we'll look to continue working hard this week and come out ready to take on LSSU next weekend."
The doubles matches were all extremely competitive with each ending in an 8-6 loss for the Scots. All three matches were tight all along but Davenport was able to close them out in the end.
