The Alma College Men's Golf team fought off inclement weather, along with league competition, to take third place in the MIAA Jamboree #6, hosted by Hope College. The Scots' final score was 309, with Calvin (307) and Hope (298) ahead of them at the end of the day.

As the Scots head into the final two Jamboree's, Alma is in second place, just 18 strokes behind league leader Hope College.

"We competed well at the Jamboree today and and finished third with a score of 309," said Alma Head Coach Ryan Duckworth. "We lost a few strokes on Hope, but we have two more to go, and you never know what can happen. We had really good efforts by Marty Predmesky and Greg Silverthorn, but overall, it was solid team day. We'll see what happens in the last two." 

    On Monday, Marty Predmesky and Greg Silverthorn finished second and ninth respectively for the Scots
