The Alma College Volleyball team, under first-year Head Coach Sarah Dehring, took to the road on Friday to take part in the Whitewater (Wisc.) University tournament.

The Scots defeated St. Norbert's (Wisc.) in their first match by a mark of 3-1 (25-23, 25-14, 22-25, 25-22) then defeated Wheaton College (Ill.) by a score of 3-2 (25-14, 25-16, 23-25, 19-25, 16-14).

"I thought we played pretty well, even though we had some ups and downs along the way," said Dehring. "We switched the line-up quite a bit and I thought the girls handled it pretty well. We have areas to improve on for sure, but I thought for the first day, it was not bad."
