The Alma Men's Golf team began competition on Friday when they took part in the Lou Collins Memorial Golf Tournament, hosted by Olivet College. The Scots finished the day in fourth place out of 14 teams with a score of 305.

Individually, the Scots are led by Fr. Marty Predmeskey (Graham, N.C.), who is tied for sixth after shooting a +2 73 on Friday afternoon. Jr. Greg Silverthorn (Shepherd, Mich./Shepherd) is tied for 16th place heading into the last day of competition after shooting a +5 76 on Friday.
