The Alma Volleyball team took on Olivet College on Wednesday night and came away with a 3-0 victory (25-12, 25-11, 25-13) to improve to 11-4 on the season and 6-1 in the MIAA. The Scots will next travel to Illinois Wesleyan, where they will compete in this weekend's IWU Invitational Tournament.

On Wednesday, the Scots jumped on the Comets quickly and took control of the match. The hosts never let the visitors get comfortable in the new Art Smith Arena, where the Scots are now 4-0. 

Jr. MH Shelby Gray (Orchard Lake, MI/West Bloomfield), Fr. Lea Klooster (Jenison, MI/Jenison) andFr. MH Rebecca Trosper (Sterling Heights, MI/Lutheran North) led the the Scots with six kills a piece. Alma also received 23 assists by Sr. S Hannah Hewitt (Harbor Springs, MI/Harbor Light Christian). 

Defensively, Sr. OH Stephanie Bradshaw (Livonia, MI/Churchill) had 21 digs, while Fr. OH Kelly Maise (Northville, MI/Northville) contributed 12 for the home team.
