The Alma Men's and Women's Cross Country teams traveled to Holland, MI on Saturday, to compete in the 2010 Division III Great Lakes Regional, hosted by Hope College. Today's results will determine the participants in the National Championships that take place on November 20.

Sr. Kellee Lemcke (Macomb, MI/Sterling Heights Stevenson) finished 11th on the Women's side, and will learn about a berth in the Nationals on Sunday afternoon. Her time in the 6K competition 22:18.1, and was the fourth-best mark by any MIAA participant.

The Women's team finished the day in 17th place, and in addition to to Lemcke, the Scots had Fr. Anna Sall (Holland, MI/Hamilton) finish in 83rd place, while So. Julie Helm (St. Joseph, MI/St. Joseph) come in at 87th.

On the Men's side, the Scots were 21st overall, led by Sr. Mike Bremer (Corunna, Mi/Corunna), who crossed in 56th place. Fr. Talon Morris (Beulah, MI/Benzie Central) was next for Alma, as he finished 86th.
