Alma Volleyball traveled to Calvin on Saturday for the final regular season match of the season, and the Scots dropped the match in three sets (17-25, 14-25, 20-25) to finish with a final league record of 12-4 and an overall mark of 17-11. The Scots will host Trine University on Tuesday evening in a First Round MIAA Tournament game at Art Smith Arena, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

It was a tough afternoon for the Scots, who will now focus on the tournament, entering as a number three seed. Alma 's Sr. S Hannah Hewitt (Harbor Light, MI/Harbor Light Christian) had 27 assists and eight digs, while Sr. OH Stephanie Bradshaw (Livonia, MI/Churchill) added 15 digs, and Jr. MH Shelby Gray (Orchard Hills, MI/ West Bloomfield) had a team-high nine kills.

So. OH Katie Bourbonnais (Niles, MI/Niles) and Fr. MH Rebecca Trosper Sterling Heights, MI/Lutheran North) had seven and six kills respectively on the afternoon, while Fr. OH Kelly Maise (Northville, MI/Northville) had ten digs and four kills. So. S Megan Ballantyne (Allen Park, MI/Southgate Anderson) finished with eight digs for the Scots.
