The Alma Women's Volleyball team traveled to Hope College on Friday to participate in the Midwest Challenge and came away with a split of the two games.
The Scots lost to MIAA foe Hope College in the first match by a score of 0-3 (12-25, 26-28 and 22-25), before defeating Manchester College in the nightcap. Alma won that contest by a score of 3-0 (25-23, 25-18, 25-20) to improve to 20-8 overall on the season.
Alma will continue the Midwest Challenge on Saturday when they play MIAA rival Calvin College at 11:00 a.m. The Scots then finish the challenge with a contest against Hanover University at 1:30 p.m.
Regardless of the results on Saturday, Alma will host a MIAA first-round playoff game on Tuesday evening at Cappaert Gymnasium in Alma.
