OLIVET, Mich. - Alma College volleyball improved to 6-9 and 3-4 in the MIAA in a 3-0 victory at Olivet Saturday afternoon. The Scots won 30-26, 30-20, 30-24 as Olivet fell to 0-16, 0-7 in the MIAA.

Alma was led by Becky Bruning (Rogers City) with 12 kills while Kaylee Sova (Freeland) had 11 kills. Kelsee Krull (Midland/Dow) had 20 digs and Mary Murdoch (Holland/West Ottawa) led the Scots with 39 assists.

Kim Gillhespy (Cedar Springs) added nine kills in the win and Amy Seidl (Croswell/Cros-Lex) had 12 digs and Mandy Risch (Cadillac) had 10 digs.

Alma next plays Saturday (Oct. 7) when they host Kalamazoo and Tri-State in two Homecoming games.
