KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Alma College got back on track with a 3-1 win against Kalamazoo College this afternoon, winning by scores of 30-27, 30-16, 24-30 and 30-15. The Scots are now 5-8 and 2-3 in MIAA action.
Alma's hitting percentages were indicative of the way they played on the day, hitting .290 in the second game and .438 in the fourth game. Kaylee Sova (Freeland) led the Scots individually with 20 kills, hitting .237 while Becky Bruning (Rogers City) had 10 kills. Kelsee Krull (Midland/Dow) had 25 digs to lead in that category while Sova added 13 digs of her own and Amy Seidl (Croswell/Cros-Lex) added 10 of her own.
Alma returns to action Sept. 26 when it hosts Hope College at 6:30 p.m.
