Win Streak Continues as Scots Down Albion in Three Games

ALMA, Mich. - Alma College volleyball defeated Albion in three games, 30-15, 30-13, 30-19, to remain perfect at 26-0 on the year. Erin Fralick (Petoskey, Mich.) led the Scots with 14 kills, three solo blocks and two block assists. Kristin Judson (Frankenmuth, Mich.) added 27 attacks and 11 kills with 12 digs.

Caitlin Deis (Chelsea, Mich.) made four service aces to pace the Scots, adding 13 digs and eight kills. Kelsee Krull (Midland, Mich./Dow) helped the Scots defensively with 17 digs as Alma boatsted four players in double-figure digs while Albion had just one player with more than eight for the match.

The Scots more than doubled the Britons' kills as the Maroon and Cream put 48 kills on the board while Albion had just 23. Alma played their final game tough with a .571 attack percentage, holding Albion to a .030 percentage.

The Scots 26-straight wins is an MIAA record. The previous record was held by Hope College with 21, spanning three seasons (1996-98).

Alma returns to Cappaert Gymnasium Tuesday (Oct. 26) when they host Kalamazoo College at 7 p.m.
