Antonio Capaldi enters his 3rd season as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach in 2024-25.

In 2 seasons, Capaldi has assisted in the coaching of 3 All-MIAA selections in Taylor Sas (1x Second Team, 1x First Team) and Brooke LeRoux (1x Second Team)

Capaldi was named an Assistant Coach with Alma College Women's Basketball in June of 2022

In the 2021-22 season, Capaldi was an Assistant Coach with Concordia-Ann Arbor Women’s Basketball. Capaldi helped coach the team to a 19-12 record, with a 14-6 record in conference play. The 19 wins was the programs highest total since 2018, and the 14 conference victories were the most since 2012. He also helped to coach Alize Tripp to NCCAA All-American and WHAC First Team All-Conference honors. In addition, he helped Julia Hurt to gain WHAC All-Freshman Team honors. The team led the WHAC in rebounding and 3 point percentage, and was ranked nationally in terms of rebounding margin, free throws made, and free throws attempted. 

From 2019-2021, Capaldi was a Student Assistant at Madonna University with the men’s basketball program. He assisted with skill development, and the running of the team. In the 2019-20 season, the Crusaders qualified for the NAIA tournament for the second straight season.

As a player, Capaldi saw postseason action in 2 of his 4 seasons. As a senior, he was part of a Madonna team that qualified for the NAIA tournament. As a sophomore, he was part of a team at Macomb Community College that won the MCCAA State Championship, and qualified for the NJCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. Other highlights of Capaldi’s career include ranking in the top 30 in the country for 3 point percentage as a freshman, shooting 5 for 5 from three against UM-Dearborn as a sophomore, and helping to pull of 5 ranked wins as a junior and senior. This included sweeping Indiana Tech, who was ranked at the time of both competitions, as a senior.
