Zach Cameron will enter his 3rd season as the Scots' Head Men's Lacrosse Coach in the Spring of 2026.

Alma College & Vice President/Director of Athletics Sarah Dehring hired him on July 7th, 2023.

Cameron's 2025 squad posted a 7-7 record, it marked the first season at or above .500 since 2017 for Alma. The Scots opened the season with a program best 7-0 start, which included MJ Humphreys tying the single game goals record with nine markers in one game. Kevin Koenn also put up the fourth most assists in a single game with seven. Humphreys went on to score the 9th most goals in a single season in program history.

In 2024, the Scots picked up one win, a 15-7 decision over Anderson University. The 15 goals was the most that Alma had scored in a game since 2022.

Cameron spent the past 7 seasons at MIAA institution Kalamazoo College. While at K, the men's lacrosse team saw an unprecedented run of academic success, winning the MIAA Academic Excellence Award for the first time in program history, and then going on to win it 5 consecutive years in a row.

Cameron was instrumental in building up the roster size of the Hornets program from 17 players to 33 in 2023. 2023 saw Kzoo have their most successful season in program history. The Hornets won 7 games, and posted a 3-3 record in MIAA play, qualifying for the MIAA tournament for the first time in program history. While at K, Cameron coached 5 All-MIAA selections. Cameron was also a key factor in a rising faceoff percentage for Kalamazoo every season that he coached.

Prior to his time at Kalamazoo, Cameron coached for Coalition Lacrosse, a Summer travel team. This allowed him to gain experience, and meet a number of college coaches, including Coach Redko at Kalamazoo.

Collegiately, Cameron played 2 season at Grand Valley State University. He was a part of the CCLA Championship team in 2015, and a part of the MCLA National Runners Up in 2016. Cameron graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2019 with a Graduate Bachelor's of Science in Phsycial Education, with a minor in Health Education. From there, he would go on to Western Michigan University, graduating with a Masters in Coaching Sports Performance in 2021.
