Shaun Balhorn will enter his 6th season as an Assistant Football Coach in the Fall of 2025.

Prior to joining the Scots, Balhorn most recently served as the head football coach at Montabella High School where he coached within the football program for 24 years. Balhorn is currently a teacher at Montabella where he teaches Physical Education and Fitness. He is also in his 25th season as the head wrestling coach at Montabella.

Balhorn received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Michigan University in 1995, and a Masters of Arts in Athletic Administration in 2005.

Balhorn is married to his wife, Paula, and together they have 4 children, Nicholas, Josh, Morgan and Jordan.
