Alma College

Matthew Yuncker will enter his 4th season as an Assistant Football Coach at Alma College in the Fall of 2024. Yuncker serves as the tight ends and halfbacks coach.. 

Prior to joining the Scots, Matthew was an assistant coach for Beal City High School football team in Mount Pleasant. He contributed to film breakdown and the administrative side of the program. 

Yuncker has also worked for the Ferris State University football program as an assistant coach. Along with assisting in film breakdown and operations, Matthew was the offensive scout team coordinator and organized scouting reports of opponents each week. He also provided recommendations on athlete recruitment. 

A graduate of Central Michigan University, Matthew received his Bachelor's Degree of Science in Political Science and History at CMU. He also earned his Associates Degree from Mid-Michigan Community College and most recently his Masters Degree in Criminal Justice Administration at Ferris State.

Matthew currently resides in Mount Pleasant.
