Aaron Davis joined the Alma College Football staff prior to the 2022 season. Davis joined the Alma staff after spending the 2021-22 Winter season at Madonna University as he Defensive Backs Coach.Â
Prior to Madonna, Davis was the Defensive Coordinator at Avondale High School. During his tenure from 2019-2022, he coached 11 players who went on to the collegiate level. He also coached the Avondale defense to force 35 turnovers in 24 games, and qualified for the MHSAA Playoffs twice.
Before coaching at Avondale, Aaron was a Little League Coach with the Michigan Bulldogs in 2018. In his lone season with the Bulldogs, the team made it to the state championship round of the national tournament.
Davis played collegiately at Alma from 2012-2015, During this time, he played defensive back, and was a 2-year varsity starter, and a 3-year varsity letterwinner. During his junior season, Davis started on the top defensive unit statistically in the MIAA. In his Senior season, he started on the top passing defensive unit statistically in the MIAA.
In high school, Davis was a 3-year starter at Ferndale High School. In his senior season, he was named All-Conference, All-Region, and All-North.
