Christian Jorgensen is entering his first season as a Volunteer Assistant with the Alma College baseball program in the 2026 season. Jorgensen spent four years with the Farwell High School baseball program in Farwell, Michigan before joining the coaching staff at Alma. He spent two years as a Varsity Assistant and two years as the Varsity Head Coach at Farwell. In 2025, Jorgensen led the rebuilding of the Farwell program with many accomplishments. He led the program to their best record in seven years, brought back a  JV schedule for the first time in seven years, had a First Team All-Conference selection for the first time in 10+ years, had the best conference record in four years, and had four year highs statistically in RBI’s, On Base Percentage, Stolen Bases, Base Hits, Runs Scored, and Defensive Putouts. Jorgensen has also been an assistant coach with elite summer travel ball in Michigan for the last two years through assisting with the 18U USA Diamond Kings in 2024 and the 17U Splitfinger baseball program in 2025. Jorgensen has also been helping run week long baseball camps for 5–13-year-olds with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes since 2021.
Jorgensen grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin and played at the collegiate level for Lincoln Christian University in Lincoln, Illinois, from 2006-2008 where he was a three-year starting catcher for the Red Lions. Jorgensen received his BA in Christian Ministry from Lincoln Christian University in 2009 and his MA in Christian Ministry from Liberty University in 2021. Jorgensen resides in Clare, Michigan with his wife Liz who he has been married to since 2019. Jorgensen serves as the full-time Pastor of the Farwell Church of Christ in Farwell, Michigan in addition to his coaching duties.                        Â
