Angola, IN – Alma College Tennis was in action on Sunday, taking on Trine University in MIAA action. Alma's men lost 7-0, while the women were defeated 6-1.
Trine 7, Alma 0
On the men's side, the duo of
Jake Lasceski and
Ashton Trnka lost 6-2 at no. 1. Alexs Jonas and
John Laxton lost 6-0 at No. 2, and the No. 3 pairing of
Christian Beyers and
Eli Festerling lost 6-3.
In singles action, Lasceski lost 6-2, 6-2 at no. 1, and Trnka fell 6-3, 6-0 at no. 2. At no. 3, Beyers lost 7-5, 6-2, and Festerling dropped a 7-6, 6-1 decision at No. 4.
Jacob McNew was defeated at no. 5, 6-2, 3-6, 1-0, and
Daniel Hickey lost 6-2, 7-6 at no. 6 to close things out.

On the women's side, in doubles action it was
Karly Kushner and
Jada Zerlaut who lost 6-0 at no. 1.
Holly Hall and
Kayden Alli lost 6-3 at no. 2, and the no. 3 pairing of
Salma Laraichi and
Laney Voisinet lost 6-1 at no. 3.
In singles play, Kushner lost at no. 1 by scores of 6-2, 6-1. Zerlaut was the lone winner at no. 2, winning 6-7, 7-5, 1-0. Hall was defeated 6-2, 6-3 at no 3, and Alli fell 6-1, 6-0 at no. 4.
Sophia Hauffe dropped a 3-6, 6-3, 1-0 decision at no 5.
Izzy Troost lost 6-4, 6-2 at no. 6 to close things out.
