Alma, MI – Alma College Women's Lacrosse hosted conference leading Hope College on Saturday, falling 24-1.
Hope's offense started on a hot streak that Alma just couldn't get them off of, despite a tenacious defensive effort throughout the game. The Flying Dutch stretched out a comfortable lead, up 13-0 at halftime. Alma got on the board in the fourth quarter, with Briar Mackey scoring the lone goal for the Scots at the 7:29 mark. In the end, Alma fell by a final of 24-1.
Sarah Bollinger caused three turnovers in the loss, and
Alexis Norko collected six saves.
Alma is back in action on Friday at Adrian College.
