Alma, MI - No. 23/25 Alma College Football returns to postseason action for the third time in four seasons on Saturday, when they take on No. 10/13 UW-Platteville in the second round of the NCAA Division III Football Tournament at Ralph E. Davis Pioneer Stadium. The Scots enter postseason play at 8-2, fresh off an undefeated 7-0 MIAA season, and the program's third outright title in four years. UW-Platteville arrives with an identical 8-2 record, coming out of one of the toughest conference's in Division III football, the WIAC, with a 5-2 league record.

Zach Poff. Alma's defense has led by the defensive line grouping, as well as Alma's leading tackler in linebacker
Jett King.
Scouting the Pioneers
UW-Platteville arrives with a physical style built around a hard-nosed defense. The Pioneers average 18.5 points allowed per game, allow 3.3 yards per carry on the ground, and 6.8 yards per attempt against the pass. Platteville is led offensively by quarterback Nathan Uselding, and running back Zackary Bothun.
