Farmington Hills, MI – The No. 23/25 Alma College Football program placed a conference-leading 14 student-athletes on the All-MIAA teams, as announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. The recognition comes on the heels of Alma securing its third outright MIAA championship in four seasons, highlighted by Saturday's thrilling 35–34 victory over nationally ranked Adrian College.
Senior running back
Eddie Williams was named MIAA Offensive MVP after a dominant season in league play. Williams led the conference with 1,009 rushing yards and 16 rushing touchdowns, averaging 144.1 rushing yards per game—more than double the next closest player. He also scored 120 total points across seven MIAA games, averaging 17.1 points per contest, again more than double the second-place finisher.
Quarterback
Carter St. John earned the Pete Schmidt Memorial Scholar-Athlete Award, presented annually since 2001 in honor of Alma alumnus Pete Schmidt. St. John led the MIAA with 20 passing touchdowns, also recording over 1,600 passing yards during conference play. Off the field, he founded QBs vs Cancer, a national nonprofit organization established after the 2023 season, and has been a consistent presence in local schools as a volunteer and mentor.
