Olivet, MI – Women's Basketball was on the road on Saturday at Olivet to take on the Comets. Alma was victorious by a final of 73-62.

The game started quickly for Alma, and it was clear that the three ball was working for Alma. Ball movement was incredible from the Scots as they scored 24 points in the opening quarter to take a solid lead. However, Olivet wasn't going away just yet, and they turned around to score 21 in the second, and only trailed by 3 points at the half.

The third quarter proved to be the deciding moment of the game. Alma scored 17 and held Olivet to just 9. Points, the teams would score 19 apiece, and Alma took home the win by an 11-point margin, with the score at 73-62.

The 3-point shot really was working for the Scots. Alma buried 14 three pointers on the way to win. Taylor Sas teed off for 27 points and 8 rebounds in the win, largely aided by 6 made three pointers, and a 7-8 performance at the free throw line. Morgan Hanchett also stepped up, scoring 16 points off the bench on 4-7 shooting from deep. Also making 4 threes was Brooke Leroux, who scored 14 points. Izzy Alston grabbed 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 blocks in the victory. Olivia Warren also filled up the stat sheet, with 4 points, 5 boards, 8 assists, and 3 steals.

Alma is back in the win column, and will host Adrian on Wednesday, game time is 5:30 PM.
