ALMA, Mich. — The Alma College Women's Basketball team traveled to Albion College on Wednesday, Feb. 16, to start its final week of regular season play. The Scots put up a fighte but ultimately fell to the Britons, 56-43.
The game stayed close in the first and second quarters, with the Scots climbing to a small lead to start the second half. Alma continued to lead going in to the fourth quarter, up five points. Albion closed the gap in the fourth quarter with eight minutes on the clock and ran with it to win the game, 56-43.
Taylor Sas led Alma with 13 points, two assists and one block. Olivia Warren followed behind Sas with nine points and Maddie Robbins added six defensive rebounds.
Follow the Scots on the road for its final conference game of the season, against Olivet College, on Saturday, Feb. 19.
