Saginaw, MI – Alma track and field opened their indoor season on Saturday at Saginaw Valley State. The Scots saw several performances inside the top 8, and a number of performances that claim spots in the Alma record books.
Julia Gotaas placed 8th in the women's 5,000, and Braxton Lamey placed 2nd in the men's 5,000. Both Haydin Sims and Cliff Maginity placed 7th and 8th respectively in the men's mile. Helena Snyder and Reagan Kyser tied for 9th in the high jump, with their mark of 1.43 meters. The clearance is good for 9th on the all-time indoor list.
