ANGOLA, Ind. — The Alma College Women's Basketball team traveled to Trine University on Wednesday, Jan. 12. The Thunder finished ahead at the final buzzer, 65-49, to put Alma 2-2 in conference play.
Oretha Humphries led the game with 19 points for the Scots. Taylor Sas followed behind with 13 points. Maddie Robbins added 14 defensive rebounds and Maddie Smith had three assists on the day.
"I couldn't be happier with how hard we played tonight," said Head Coach Sami Stormont. "But we didn't shoot the ball well, and to beat a team like Trine, you have to do that. There was a lot of good in that game, though. Looking forward to having another chance to compete tomorrow."
Next, the Scots compete in Art Smith Arena Thursday, Jan. 13, against Hope College.
