Women's Golf Takes Fifth at Jamboree

SAUGATUCK, Mich. - The Alma College women's golf team competed at the Clearbrook Golf Club for the fourth MIAA Jamboree of the season hosted by Hope College. The Scots finished fifth in the team rankings, their highest ranking this season. Alma shot a combined score of 351, its lowest of the season. 

Morgan Yates carded an 83 to finish in a tie for 14th on the individual leaderboard. The sophomore was tied for the best par 4 scoring on the day. Grace Grelak followed right behind with an 84 to place 19th. 

Evie Garver earned 32nd place with an 88. Grace Smith shot a 96 and Mackenzie Harwood shot a 99 to round out the scoring for the Scots. 

Alma will travel to Adrian for the next jamboree on Saturday, April 10th.
