Hillsdale, Mich.- The Alma College continued the GINA Relays at Hillsdale College on Friday (Apr. 23). The Scots had some performances both on the track and in the field events
Charley Hengesbach took eighth place in the women's hammer throw with a toss of 42.97 meters. Andrea Taghon took second in her section of the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 17.21 while Stephanie Davis finished fourth in the same race with a time of 23.70. Grace Hearth finished in 11th place in the women's high jump with a jump of 1.43 meters. Cornelia Gotaas took sixth in her section of the women's 800 meter run with a time of 2:24.91. Haley Trickey took 11th in her section of the women's 1500 meter race with a time of 5:23.33.
For the men, Jacob Wildenhaus took 10th in the 110 meter hurdles race with a time of 15.23 seconds, the senior would add a 14th place finish in the 400 meter hurdle race with a time of 1:01.21. Ross McNeel took second in his section of the 400 meter dash with a time of 52.08 seconds. Cliff Maginity took ninth in his section of the men's 1500 meter run with a time of 4:34.63. The men's 800 meter race saw Jacob Campbell take fifth in his heat with a time of 2:08.91.
The Scots will compete in the final day of the GINA Relays at Hillsdale on Saturday (Apr. 24). Events will begin at 11:00 a.m.
