ANGOLA, Ind. - The Alma College men's track and field team completed its indoor season at the MIAA Championships hosted by Trine University on Saturday. The Scots earned 12 points to place seventh in the meet.
Nolan Rowland earned second place in the pole vault by clearing the 3.95-meter bar.
Ross McNeel had a personal-best indoor time of 52.86 seconds in the 400-meter. McNeel just missed the top 8 by .006 seconds.
The Distance Medley Relay team of Cliff Maginity, Hunter Chovanec, Jacob Campbell, and Colton Chovanec earned points for the Scots with their seventh-place finish.
The 4x400 relay team placed seventh with a time of 3:48.63. Maginity, McNeel and Campbell all raced as part of the relay including Nathan Idalski.
The Scots look ahead to the outdoor season now. Alma will host MIAA Outdoor Conference Championships in May.
