Box Score ANGOLA, Ind. – The Alma College men's basketball team loss, 88-57, to the No. 5th ranked Trine University Thunder Thursday night. The Scots dropped to 2-6 overall and 0-2 in conference play while the Thunder stayed undefeated on the year with a record of 11-0.
It was a tight low scoring contest for about the first 10 minutes of the game until Trine started to gain the momentum and take a big lead. Alma was playing from behind for the rest of the way and could not slow down the high-powered Thunder offense.
Isaiah Williamson notched a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Brandon Rake had eight points and eight rebounds. Cole Kleiver led the team in points with 13 while Nate Deyman tallied a team-high five assists.
Alma's next scheduled game is at Calvin University on Saturday (Feb. 13) at 3 p.m.
