From Head Coach Matt Chovanec:
"Opening day did not disappoint. We coaches were very pleased with the results for this early in the season. Our teams has been working hard leading up to this day and it showed. All of our group that we took to this meet is ahead of where they were when they started the season last year. Now we just need to continue to build on what we've established and understand it's a process over time to have the performances we really want when championship season gets here at the end of the season."
