Box Score Scots win conference matchup on the road
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Alma College Women's Basketball team faced Saint Mary's on the road on Saturday, Dec. 18, and won, 87-56.
The Scots were led by Taylor Sas, with 24 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists. Stasha Warchock followed behind with 14 points. Maddie Robbins added nine points and four assists. Alma shot 51 percent from the field.
"I couldn't be prouder of how we responded all week after our game against Albion. We came into practice everyday on a mission to get better and it really showed out there today. To put up as many points as we did, while only having two in double figures showed how well we played together," said head coach Sami Stormont.
Next, Alma takes a two-week break and heads to the College of Wooster on Sunday, Jan. 2.
