Box Score ALMA, Mich. – The Alma College women's basketball team loss, 81-48, to the Hope College Flying Dutch on Wednesday at the Scots' Art Smith Arena. Alma's record levels at 2-2 while Hope stays undefeated on the season at 3-0. This game did not count towards the MIAA conference standings.
The Scots got off to a slow start and were never able to recover from there. Alma did however have a great night with their 3-point shooting, making a season-high 10 shots from beyond the arc. Freshman Taylor Sas made four from downtown to score 12 points on the night.
Morgan Hanchett recorded her second-straight game of scoring double figures with 10 points. Hanchett also added four rebounds and two assists in the game.
Emily Long picked up a team-high six rebounds and scored six points. Junior Sara Lesnesky entered the game late and scored a career-high four points. Sophomore Becca Bohrer nailed her one shot of the game in the fourth quarter with a 3-pointer.
Alma will head to Albion College to face the Britons on Saturday, January 30th. Start time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
