Scots Downed in Home Opener

ALMA, Mich. - The Alma College men's basketball team loss, 97-75, to Trine University in the Scots' home opener of the 2021 season. The game was the first in-person athletics competition on the campus of Alma College in 320 days due to restrictions brought upon by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Cole Kleiver led the team in points for the second-straight game with 17. The junior added five rebounds and two assists. 

Junior Austin Harris produced a career-high 11 points while freshman Gabe Bourdeau also finished in double figures with 10 points. 

Nate Deyman led the team in both rebounds and assists with six and four respectively. 

Alma stays home to face Calvin University on Saturday, January 23rd.
