Wheaton, Ill. — The Alma College wrestling team finished in 33rd place out of 34 teams at the Pete Wilson Invitational, hosted by Wheaton College. 

Freshman Noah Lopez (Hartland, Mich./Hartland) had two wins in the 133-pound bracket: first over Josiah Fitzjerrels of Wheaton College by technical fall, 20-4, and the second over Ryan Hornack of Heidelberg by a 12-6 decision. 

Freshman Jake Anderson (Rochester Hills, Mich./Rochester Adams) recorded a victotry at 141 pounds against Jon Raugh of Muskingum with a 12-6 decision, while senior Trent Hullett (Jackson, Mich./Parma Western) also scored a win over Adam Bresson of Ferrum College with a pin in th 187-pound flight.

The Scots will be back in action on Thursday Feb. 2,  at 7:00 p.m. when they host their final home meet of the season against Adrian College.
