Byron Center, Mich. - Sophomore Kennedy Hilley (Lake Odessa, Mich./Lakewood) finished in first place and tied her school record in the Railside D3 Classic with a score of 74 (+2) to lead the Alma College women's golf team to a second place finish out of five teams on Saturday morning. As a team, the Scots shot a team record 333 as Hilley earned both a medal and a spot on the All-Tournament team with Tori Basso (Lake Orion, Mich./Lake Orion), who finished tied for sixth with an 83 (+11).
Hannah Joslin (Linden, Mich./Linden) came in just behind Basso with a score of 84. Katie Neiswender (Quincy, Ill./Notre Dame) and Jennifer Kowalczyk (Northville, Mich./Northville) rounded out the Scots' finishers with scores of 92 and 104, respectively.
