Marshall, Mich. - The Alma College women's golf team finished in sixth place with a second round score of 345, two strokes better than its first round score and one stroke behind fifth place North Central College, in the Campbell Invitational at the Medalist Golf Club as play wrapped up on Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Kennedy Hilley (Lake Odessa, Mich./Lakewood) finished as the Scots' best competitor of the tournament with a final score of 167 (83-84). Tori Basso (Lake Orion, Mich./Lake Orion) finished second on the team with a 173 (84-89). Katie Neiswender (Quincy, Ill./Notre Dame), Hannah Joslin (Linden, Mich./Linden) and Jennifer Kowalczyk (Northville, Mich./Northville) each improved their scores on day two. Neiswender shot one stroke better, Joslin seven strokes and Kowalczyk six strokes.
