Alma improves on day two of the Olivet Invitational

The Alma College women's golf team continued the Fall Olivet Invitational today (Sept. 12). Four out of five individuals scored better the second day.

Freshman Hannah Joslin (Linden, Mich./Linden) led the way for the Scots both days shooting an 88 the first day and 93 the second for a total of 181. Freshman Kennedy Hilley (Lake Odessa, Mich./Lakewood) improved on the second day by cutting 14 strokes.

"We fought the Medalist GC on Friday and the course won. This venue is a tough opener for five freshman and three veterans that had never laid eyes on this challenging track. Saturday we scored better and it was evident that everyone was more relaxed. This team has a lot of upside. We are just scratching the surface with this group."
