"Our effort tonight was back to where it needs to be for us to have a chance to win games," said Scots Head Coach Sam Hargraves. "We really battled and getting outrebounded was as much about the injuries to our big men and how small we are now.
"We will have scrap and claw to have a chance from here on out and we did that tonight. Adrian had to make some really tough shots to beat us, especially the game winner. We got better tonight."
Alma Jr. G Brandon Krause (Sanford, Mich./Meridian) scored the first bucket of the game on a lay-up for a 2-0 lead seven seconds in, but before long, Adrian had a 7-2 advantage. The contest saw seven first half ties as the two very equal teams played the type of game people expected.

The Bulldogs rebounded the miss of the second shot and drove the length of the floor in search of one final chance.
