SCOTS WOMEN'S GOLF COMPETED IN THE TWO-DAY OLIVET FALL INVITATIONAL

Alma's 2009 Women's Golf squad hit the road to Marshall, MI this weekend to take part in the Olivet College Fall Invitational. The Scots finished 12th overall in the two-day event, besting three MIAA schools.

The Scots finished with a final score of 781, ahead of Kalamazoo, Calvin and Adrian. Hope College won the event with a score of 658, followed by host Olivet, who finished at 659.

Sarah Caverley paced the Scots with a score of 181, good for a tie for 33rd, while Samantha Robinson finished 57th after scoring a 194. Other competing golfers for Alma included Andrea Jones, Nicole Bursach and Katie Amrich.
