OLIVET, Mich. - The Scots lost to Olivet 79-57 as the Comets Stephanie Smith dropped 35 points and set and MIAA record with nine three-pointers. The Scots shot just 32 percent and were 22 percent from three-point range.

Olivet maintainted the lead throughout the game despite Alma's presence down-low, outscoring the Comets in the paint, 28-12.

Alma was led by Katey Peacock (Gowen/Greenville) with 16 points while Darcie Philp (Ubly) had 14 and Ashley Borcherding (Millington) added 10.

Alma returns to action Jan. 18 when it travels to Hope for a 7:30 p.m. game.
