Scots Tie for Fourth at Olivet's MIAA Jamboree

ALMA, Mich. - The Alma College women's golf team continued MIAA action Tuesday (Sept. 20) with a conference jamboree at The Medalist, hosted by Olivet College.

Alma tied for fourth place overall with a team score of 365, matching Albion's team score. Leading the way for the Maroon and Cream, senior Abbey French (Brighton) carded 89, shooting 37 on the front side to pace the team and finish tied for 13th on the day. Beth Hubbard (Oxford) was second for the Scots and tied for 17th overall with 90. Kristina Schwab (Saginaw/Heritage) shot 92 and Erica Lynch (Kaleva/Brethren) had 94 to round out scorers.  Megan Stevenson (Rockford) 104 to as the fifth golfer for the Scots.

Alma returns to the links Saturday at Adrian's MIAA Jamboree at Lenawee Country Club with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.
