Wyatt Rush is entering his first season as the Director of Player Development for the Alma College Baseball program for the 2026 season. Rush comes to Alma after completing his collegiate career at Michigan State University. While playing for the Spartans, Rush was a four-year letter winner and a two-time team captain. Rush was awarded numerous accolades throughout his career at MSU including Academic All-Big Ten Honors three times, All-Big Ten Honoree, Rawlings All-Region Honoree, two-time Craig Hendricks Spartan Spirit Award winner, and the Spartans Most Valuable Pitcher Award. Rush finished his career with several record book entries as well including T-5th in Career Saves and T-4th in Single Season Saves, while also playing in the summer leagues including the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League and winning the Northwood League Championship two times with the Traverse City Pit Spitters. Before Michigan State, rush began his career at Lansing Community College, where he was an All-American and earned Michigan Community College Athletic Association East Player of the Year Honors. Prior to college, Rush was coached under Hall of Fame coach Pat O'Keefe, where he was a three-year letter winner and concluded his high school career as a First Team All-State Selection and an All_State Dream Team Player.

Post playing career, Rush has coach with the Capital City Kings at the 15U and 18U levels, along with a summer with Grand Ledge 14U as well. Rush has been doing private instruction and camp coordination for eight years as well.Â
