In 2023, she competed for Northwood University. While there, she notched the 6th furthest Discus throw, and the 3rd longest Shot Put in NU women's history. She stood on the podium at the GMAC championships on more than one occasion, earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors, was named Academic All-American in DII Indoor, and was named team M.V.P. by the Northwood University Women's Track and Field Program.

Prior to competing for Northwood, Albaugh competed in the MIAA for conference foe The University of Olivet (Formerly Olivet College).

During her time as a Comet, Albaugh was recognized nationally. She was a 3x NCAA Division III National Qualifier, qualifying twice for Outdoor Nationals, and once for Indoor Nationals. In addition, she was also recognized as a 7x All-Region Athlete between Indoor and Outdoor. Adding to the academic accomplishments, she was awarded the Linda Hoover Athlete Award, which is given to one male and one female who had the most outstanding performance in the classroom, and the playing field.

At the conference level, Albaugh made quite the name for herself. She won the MIAA Indoor Women's Shot Put title 4 times, adding 3 outdoor titles to that record as well. Lillian tied the MIAA Women's Shot Put record in Feburary of 2019, holds both the Indoor and Outdoor Women's Shot Put records at Olivet, and was a 3-year captain for the Women's Track and Field program.

Albaugh also competed on the national stage, competing on the Down Under Teen USA Team in Australia in 2017.

Albaugh graduated from Olivet in 2022 with a Bachelors Degree in Sport and Rec Management, and also holds a Masters Degree from Northwood University in Business Administration, graduating in 2023.
