Foster’s role of developing the athletes towards the varsity program, where he also assisted in offensive coordination for the 2023 and 2024 seasons, also showed success as the team qualified for the playoffs for the first time in 2024.
Foster’s collegiate coaching experience started at Augustana College (IL) where he was the recruiting coordinator as well as handling the offense and substitutions during gameplay. While with the Vikings, Foster helped the program total 15 wins between the two seasons before transitioning to the University of Providence (MT), again as an assistant coach.
In addition to coaching, Foster has taught at the middle and high school levels since 2017 across a handful of states and regions, most recently at East Kentwood in World History, Debate, Civics and Sociology.
