Darien Burse will enter his 3rd season at Alma College as an Assistant Coach for Men's Basketball in the Fall of 2025.
Burse came to Alma after coaching at Reeths-Puffer High School in Muskegon, Michigan, where he was responsible for coaching the Freshman, Junior Varsity, and also assisting the Varsity team.
Academically, Burse received a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communications at Great Lakes Christian College, graduating in 2015. As a player, Burse was a 2X MHSAA State Champion for Western Michigan Christian High School. He played 4 years of collegiate basketball at Great Lakes Christian College and following college he played semiprofessional for the West Michigan Lake Hawks. Burse also played professionally overseas for B.C Fenix.
