Amy Benitez enters her first season as Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at Alma College for the Fall 2026 schedule, returning to her alma mater to help advance the program and support student-athlete development.
Benitez joins the collegiate coaching ranks after a successful tenure developing youth talent at the high school level and with the National Capital Area Soccer Club. A bilingual coach, she utilizes her language skills to enhance communication, strengthen player relations, and foster a cohesive team dynamic.
As a student-athlete at Great Lakes Christian College, Benitez put together a standout playing career. Her performances during the 2024–2025 season earned her top national and regional honors, including All-American recognition, First-Team All-Region selection, and Regional Newcomer of the Year, while leading her team to a regional championship and a national runner-up finish.
Now transitioning from the pitch to the sidelines, Benitez is excited to help the Scots pursue their ambitions in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association and compete at the highest level of NCAA Division III soccer.
