Kalamazoo, MI – Alma College Tennis was in action on Wednesday, taking on Kalamazoo College in MIAA play. The Scots were swept 7-0 on both the men's and women's sides.

On the women's side, the #1 doubles team of
Jada Zerlaut and
Karly Kushner lost 6-0, and the #3 pairing of
Laney Voisinet and
Salma Laraichi suffered a loss by the same score. The #2 duo of
Holly Hall and
Kayden Alli was defeated 6-2.
Moving to singles play, Kushner was defeated 6-1, 6-0 at #1, and Zerlaut lost at #2 by scores of 6-2, 6-1. Hall was defeated 6-0, 6-1 at #3, and Alli fell 6-0, 6-3. Izzt Troost dropped a 6-1, 6-1 decision at #5, and Laraichi fell 6-3, 6-3 at #6 to round things out.

On the men's side, doubles play saw the #1 pairing of
Jake Lasceski and
Ashton Trnka fall 6-3. The #2 duo of
Alex Jonas and
John Laxton fell 6-1, and the #3 team of
Eli Festerling and
Christian Beyers lost by the same score.
In singles play, Lasceski fell 6-0, 6-3 at #1, and Trnka lost 6-0, 6-1 at #2. #3 saw Beyers go down 6-0, 6-1, and Festerling lost 6-2, 6-1 at #4. At #5,
Jacob McNew lost 6-0, 6-1, and
Daniel Hickey rounded things out at #6, falling 6-0, 6-0.
Alma's men are back in action tomorrow at Hope, while the women next play on Saturday at home against Olivet.
