Alma, MI – Alma College Women's Wrestling welcomed nationally ranked Northern Michigan University on Friday night. After a quick start, Northern Michigan heated up, defeating the Scots 40-10.
 
The meet started with Ayres Hall claiming a 5-0 lead after a Northern forfeit at 103 pounds. The Scots lead doubled to 10-0 after Caroline Farris scored a win via fall over Trinity Valentin at the 1:49 mark.
 
Alma conceded a pair of forfeit wins to NMU, and despite several bright moments throughout the remaining matches, they ended via fall in favor of the visitors.
 
The Scots are back at it on Sunday at the Adrian Invite.
