Freshman Madison O'Deay (Freeland, Mich. / Freeland High School) rounded out the point-scorers for the Scots.
"We coaches were very pleased with the performances today," said head coach Matt Chovanec. "It was very apparent that our runners put in the work this summer. The results can be deceptive when you look at where we placed individually, but our final times, as well as our gap times from our number one runner to our number five runner, are much better than at the same time last year. We are looking forward to seeing what the rest of the season brings, for sure."
Alma returns to action on Saturday, Sept. 7 at the Calvin Knight Invitational. The meet will begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Gainey Athletic Complex in Grand Rapids.
